Hit ⌘⇧R

A global hotkey starts capturing your Mac's system audio. Not the microphone — the sound itself, cleanly, via a native Core Audio tap.

Play the message

Voice messages, meetings, videos or calls. Record for seconds or hours; long sessions are chunked automatically.

The transcript is copied to your clipboard, ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Notes or anywhere else.

Prefer to manage it yourself? Store the key directly in Keychain and VoiceGrab will simply use it.

Don't trust third-party apps with your API key?

VoiceGrab only reads from the macOS Keychain. If you prefer, store your API key there yourself and never paste it into the app.
